Scottsdale, located within the Phoenix metropolitan area, consists of approximately 184.4 square miles.  Data from the Census projected its 2022 population was 241,361 residents. The median household income is $117,974. From an educational standpoint, 59.4% have a bachelor degree or more. The Scottsdale Community College is Scottsdale’s public community College. Scottsdale Unified School District consists of 15 elementary, 3 K-8, 6 middle, and 5 high schools including an on-line high school. Offerings include gifted learning, special education, career and technical education and a variety of athletics, arts and enrichment programs and clubs. There are also multiple charter and private school throughout the city.

It is not unusual to observe wild life in including quail, coyotes, bobcats, owls, javelina, snakes and more!
